Heritage fish and chips Opened it's doors in 1983.
Originally located on California Street in Downtown Brampton. It took its name from the Heritage theatre which was very close.
The quaint little shop had seating capacity of 25 people and a tiny area for a take out service.
The year of 1988 Bill Bletsas and Lackie Fotiadis took over the shop.
Within 2 years they renovated and expanded the shop to the 120 people capacity.
The year of 1993 Heritage fish & chips had to move because the city of Brampton had plans to redevelop downtown Brampton.
Heritage fish & chips moved to their current location at 295 Queen St. E. (Bramrose plaza).
The Rose theatre stands proudly where Heritage was.
In 2003 the second Heritage fish & chips was open at 13 fishermen Dr.
Today are 5 locations serving the best fish above water.
Heritage fish & chips remain a family owned and operated business.
